Bhadla Solar Project

Located in the Bhadla region of Rajasthan, this 100 MW solar project delivers clean, renewable electricity into the Rajasthan state grid, helping replace power that would otherwise be generated by fossil‑fuel based plants. By avoiding approximately 146,086 tCO₂e of emissions each year, the project supports meaningful climate action while also reducing local air pollutants associated with burning fossil fuels, helping contribute to healthier communities. Beyond emissions benefits, the project strengthens energy security and supports local socio‑economic development through education, employment and training opportunities, alongside community initiatives such as distributing 1,500 blankets to those in need and providing teaching materials to 450 students to promote girls’ education. Overall, the project helps diversify local incomes, improve living conditions, and supports the development of a brighter future for communities in the region.
