Why we support this project

The Creating a Better Climate Environmental Plantings Project is a long-standing, large-scale initiative registered in March 2014. Spanning approximately twenty-seven properties across regional New South Wales, it has transformed former agricultural land into permanent native Eucalyptus plantings. By restoring landscapes with species such as Eucalyptus polybractea, Eucalyptus loxophleba, and Eucalyptus kochii, the project enhances biodiversity, sequesters carbon, and builds climate resilience. Led by CO2 Australia, this project provides robust, credible carbon abatement outcomes while supporting regional communities and environmental regeneration.
